Here’s the latest (and most ridiculous) way to boost antioxidant intake: Splenda.

With a new line of Splenda products — called Splenda Essentials — you can get 20 percent of your recommended daily intake of vitamins C and E in a single packet of the popular artificial sweetener.

I’m sure many people use five or more Splenda packets per day, so that’s all you need of these two vitamins!

Well…that’s according to the FDA. And if it sounds absurdly oversimplified, it is.

I hope nobody really believes they could pick up more than a scant trace of vitamins from a Splenda packet. But I guess anything is possible when the FDA seems to think that a scant trace of vitamins C and E are plenty enough to get you through the day.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
