Every spring, two things happen: 1) The pollen flies and makes life miserable for millions of allergy sufferers during some of the nicest days of the year, and 2) we learn more about the benefits of Nasaleze – a unique source of relief for those tormented by pollen, dust, mold spores, etc.

A quick recap: Nasaleze is an organic powered plant extract that’s sniffed into the nostrils where it creates a mucus-like gel. The gel becomes a protective barrier between the surface of the nasal passage and airborne allergens.

Again and again, Nasaleze has been proven to work. But it’s also inert, so there are zero side effects. The powder might tickle and give you sneeze at first, but there’s no drowsiness, dry mouth, headaches, nervousness, or any other symptoms commonly linked to allergy drugs.

I should note, by the way, that neither the e-Alert nor Health Sciences Institute is affiliated with Nasaleze in any way. It’s just a great product I came across years ago and I’ve been following its progress ever since.

The new study comes from Russia’s Immunology Institute State Science Centre. For seven days, researchers subjected 30 adults with a history of allergic rhinitis to several doses of airborne allergens and treatment with Nasaleze.

In 28 subjects, Nasaleze significantly reduced nasal reactivity to the allergens.

Nasaleze was most effective when taken in anticipation of exposure, and continued use during exposure prolonged effectiveness. But Nasaleze was shown to be less effective when taken by subjects who were already suffering from allergen exposure.

As expected, no side effects were reported. Researchers also note that Nasaleze can be taken by children and pregnant or breast-feeding moms.
