It’s that moment of panic that every pet owner knows.

You come home, see the garbage strewn all over the house, and see the other mess that usually comes right after that.

Dogs, cats, parakeets, llamas–whatever kind of pet you have, we all care for them deeply. So you need to be aware that animals are much more vulnerable to poisons than we humans are. Things that we eat regularly can be poison to our furry friends (and our winged ones too).

Fortunately, no matter what time you get home to that scene, someone is there to help.

If you ever think your pet has ingested something that could be poisonous for him, you can call Pet Poison Helpline 24 hours a day (800-213-6680) for advice in treating just about any species of animal for just about any type of poisoning.

Meanwhile, you can visit the PPH website (petpoisonhelpline.com) for tips to help your pets avoid common household toxins such as Xylitol (a sugarless substitute used in gum, candy, and other treats), chocolate, fertilizers, pesticides, and pharmaceuticals.

No llamas allowed in the garage, the candy bin, or the medicine cabinet!

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
