Can a daily walk jeopardize the atmosphere?

If you’re not exactly warming up to the idea of starting a new exercise regimen for the New Year, you might give some thought to this e-mail sent from an HSI member…

“Those that are exercising are releasing GREAT AMOUNTS OF CO2 into the ATMOSPHERE and are a MAJOR CAUSE OF GLOBAL WARMING. They had better stop exercise, e.g.: aerobics, jogging, walking, swimming, etc. Stop POLLUTING the ATMOSPHERE with your EXCESSIVE CO2 EXHALANT!”

Actually, if you get a little exercise every day I think the atmosphere will be fine. But if you’re looking for an excuse not to…you’re welcome!
