The “new math” according to Tropicana

So there I was, reading the Nutrition Facts panel on a bottle of Tropicana 100% Juice. I almost didn’t look at the list of ingredients because it’s pretty obvious that it’s orange juice, just orange juice, and nothing BUT orange juice, right? I mean, what part of “100%” do I not understand, right?

Wrong.

Here’s what I found printed on the label: “100 % orange juice from concentrate (filtered water and concentrated orange juice), natural flavors.”

And after the word “flavors” an asterisk took me to this note: “Ingredient not found in regular orange juice.”

So what part of “100%” does Tropicana not understand? And what exactly is “regular orange juice”?
