12 Ways to Survive Cancer Without a Single Drug
Close to Home
For me, cancer is personal. And I expect it is for you as well.
Several years ago my father was diagnosed with leukemia, and since then we’ve traveled a difficult path, with plenty of ups and downs.
Sound familiar? I’m sure it does. I don’t know a single person who hasn’t been touched by cancer. Whether or not you’ve been fortunate enough to avoid this disease, you’ve most likely endured the heartache when cancer hits close to home – finding out with a sudden jolt that a family member, friend, or co-worker has been diagnosed.
So after the diagnosis, what then?
The way each cancer patient and his family answers that question will have an overwhelming impact on the quality of their lives.
Big 10
Many oncologists would rather you didn’t know that chemotherapy may prolong life by a few weeks or months, but typically there’s little chance that this exceedingly harsh treatment will actually rid a patient of his disease.
In fact, according to Gordon Zubrod, M.D. (a researcher for the National Cancer Institute), chemotherapy is considered to be highly effective only in these ten cancers:
- Burkitt’s lymphoma
- Choriocarcinoma
- Acute lymphocytic leukemia
- Hodgkin’s disease
- Lymphoscarcoma
- Embryonal testicular cancer
- Wilms’ Tumor
- Ewing’s sarcoma
- Rhabdomyosarcoma
- Retinoblastoma
Note that except for testicular cancer, all of these malignancies are rare in adults.
Ralph W. Moss, Ph.D. – one of the leading researchers in alternative cancer therapies – states that when an oncologist speaks of a “response” to chemotherapy, that should not be taken as an implication that “increased survival” is probable.
So when you’ve endured multiple rounds of chemo and your oncologist finally breaks the news that the therapy has failed, you’re probably also told that you’ve reached the end of the line.
That’s what happened to my father. But I refused to call it quits.
Way beyond the end of the line
My dad is old school. He believed that his treatment options were exhausted in 2002 when his blood work was all bad news and his doctor admitted he didn’t know what to do next.
To say my dad didn’t have much trust in alternative health care is to put it mildly. But with nowhere else to turn, I finally convinced him to try a treatment that had recently been featured in the HSI Members Alert: a hybridized mushroom extract that dramatically boosts immune system activity.
Less than two months later, my father’s stunned doctor told him his blood counts were the best they’d been in over a decade.
Inspired by my dad’s experience and the many testimonials we’ve received from HSI members, I recently asked the HSI team to compile a comprehensive report detailing the most effective cancer treatments our researchers have uncovered over the years.
This report includes a full description of the mushroom extract my father used, as well as complete details about graviola (the remarkable rainforest botanical I told you about in the e-Alert “In the Jungle, the Quiet Jungle” 8/15/07), and nine other outstanding cancer-fighting agents.
I believe just about everyone will find something useful – and perhaps even life-saving – in HSI’s “12 Ways to Survive Cancer Without a Single Drug.”
We actually lost my dad a little while ago. But I thank God every day that I discovered the miracle mushroom that helped him when I did. It gave us 7 more years with him…7 years that he could watch his grandson grow up (and start playing the electric guitar!), see his beloved Giants win another SuperBowl (against the otherwise undefeated Pats), spend Thanksgiving around the table with his family, and just be there for all the little moments in between. Without this miracle, he would have missed all of those memories – and we would have missed them more. Please, please don’t wait to discover your cancer miracle.
