Another health tip that’s an outrage

I finished up yesterday’s e-Alert with an outrage that also qualified as a health tip, and today I’ll do the same.

Just imagine how many middle-aged people – especially postmenopausal women – who take antidepressant drugs and/or proton-pump inhibitors (PPIs), such as Nexium, Prilosec, and Prevacid for heartburn. Now imagine how many of those patients are completely unaware that PPIs and certain antidepressants (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors – SSRIs) such as Prozac may be contributing to bone loss. There’s a whole generation of women out there, trusting their doctors, trusting their drugs, while their bones are slowly deteriorating, day by day. Given that there are effective non-drug treatments for both depression and heartburn, this is an outrage.

Meet the Health Sciences Institute

The Health Sciences Institute (HSI) is an independent organization established in 1998. We’re dedicated to uncovering and researching the most urgent advances in modern underground medicine. Things you WON’T hear about in the mainstream.

Whether they come from a laboratory in Malaysia, a clinic in South America, or a university in Germany, our goal is to bring the treatments that work directly to the people who need them. We alert our Members to exciting breakthroughs in medicine, show them exactly where to go to learn more, and help them understand how they and their families can benefit from these powerful discoveries.
