How do you like your omega-3 fatty acids?
How do you like your omega-3 fatty acids?
From fish, flaxseed, or Berry Squirts?
If you stopped off at a Burger King recently and ordered a kid’s meal, you might have noticed a small flyer packed in with the Simpson’s toy. The flyer is a coupon for savings on The Simpson’s Omega-3 Berry Squirts.
According to the web site for St. Hill Pharmaceutical Corporation (makers of The Simpson’s vitamin products), Berry Squirts contain pharmaceutical grade EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids. But no actual squirting is involved. They’re chewable capsules.
Also available from St. Hill: The Simpson’s vitamin t-shirt. But NOT yet available at this time (D’oh!): The Simpson’s Sugar Free Multivitamin Strips and four other supplements that will carry the imprint of the famous yellow family from Springfield.
I can’t vouch for the quality of these products, but considering the way many kids eat these days (Kwik-E-Mart Squishees, doughnuts with pink frosting and sprinkles, etc.), nutritional supplements are a very good idea.
