Withanolides have shown anti-cancer activity across the board, but there’s one withanolide in particular that’s found ONLY in tomatillos…

And it’s showing promise against one of the WORST types of cancer you can imagine.

I’m talking about Ixocarpalactone A, or “Iox A” for short.

It works by INHIBITING an enzyme associated with the development of tumors in several different types of cancer.

Specifically, it ZEROES in on the cancer cells that express that enzyme… INITIATING “cell suicide” (a.k.a. apoptosis) and INHIBITING cell proliferation.

And it accomplishes this while causing NO DAMAGE to healthy cells.

Where it seems to be showing the MOST promise is the type of cancer where we need the MOST help – pancreatic cancer, whose 5-year survival rates are ABYSMAL.

In an in vitro study out of China published last year, Iox A SUPPRESSED pancreatic tumor growth in animal tissue.

And that just CONFIRMED what researchers had previously found in colon cancer cell lines!

In a study led by the IIT Research Institute out of Chicago, Iox A started working just ONE DAY after treatment…

And it CONTINUED to inhibit cancer growth a week after treatment!

Iox A has got yet another cancer-fighting weapon in its arsenal – and that’s its ability to INDUCE a detoxifying enzyme called quinone reductase (QR).

Research has shown that the greater your QR activity… the LOWER your risk for cancer!

For instance, QR activity can beat back the formation of cancer-causing agents…
