Don’t let Big Pharma TERRORIZE you with its ‘safe’ diet drug

It’s that time of year when the movie studios crank out the big-budget flicks to cash in on holiday crowds.

But there’s one thing you can count on when you hit the movie theater…

The more incredible the quote on the poster, the lousier the movie will be!

It’s the same thing with meds.

And there’s one that’s hit the market with about the most attention-getting quote of all.

“A safe diet drug that works.”

Don’t get too excited — this is just a desperate ploy to hoodwink gullible consumers.

I’ve got a single diet swap that’s far more effective… and comes with ZERO risks.

This ‘blockbuster’ is really a bomb

First, let me pull the curtains open and expose the ugly truth about the “hot” new diet drug.

You know, the one that vows to be both SAFE and EFFECTIVE.

It’s called lorcaserin, a.k.a. Belviq.

That first part – safety — already has a huge flaw. The claim comes from a study that looked ONLY at cardiovascular events.

Sure, it’s nice that it won’t stop your heart (probably).

But it’s still got plenty of other side effects, including some super freaky ones.

It can make you look like a vampire with “cool, pale skin.”

YIKES!

It can also give you bladder pain, bloody urine, and nightmares.

Onto the other part of the equation, effectiveness.

Less than 40 percent of the patients actually LOST a measly 5 percent of their body weight, compared to just 17 percent of placebo patients who lost that 5 percent.

That’s a pretty measly amount of weight to lose… and it took a FULL YEAR.

If you’re 150 pounds, that’s a crummy 7.5 pounds.

And that’s not even the most infuriating part of this.

In addition to taking this pill – and suffering the risks – you STILL have to follow a “diet and lifestyle” plan.

Here’s a better option: replace all white grains with the brown ones.

Out with the white bread and white rice, in with the whole grains and brown rice.

In one study, that change led to a 10 percent drop in dangerous visceral fat.

That’s exactly the type of weight you want to lose. The catch?

You can’t replace SOME of those grains. It has to be ALL.

Don’t get me wrong — these brown grains are still carbs. To lose weight, you have to limit carbs overall, so don’t go crazy with them.

But they’re much better than the carbs you’re eating right now.

And this one swap alone is bound to lead to far more than 7.5 pounds in weight loss.
