Lipitor has come full circle.

Back in the day, this Big Kahuna of blockbuster drugs cost more than $200 for a month’s supply.

But that was then, and this is… post patent. These days, generic Lipitor is available. And you won’t believe how low the price has dropped.

The other day a friend sent me an online prescription refill form from Wegmans. The form included an ad for atorvastatin, the generic name of Lipitor. For the next six months, Wegmans customers can fill their Lipitor prescriptions for free.
