How to recognize the real cons of cancer cures May 3, 2017

At the end of last week, the FDA made a big announcement about how it’s cracking down on the “cruel deception” of bogus cancer treatment claims. Was it referring to Pfizer, which insists that its kidney cancer drug can help stop cancer cells from multiplying (implying that it will stop cancer in its tracks)? Or […]

When is prostate cancer most likely to receive radiation? April 18, 2017

If you’re a guy with prostate cancer, the treatment your doctor recommends could very well be based on what he owns. No, not his car… or house… or anything like that. I’m talking about medical equipment. Radiation machines, to be exact. Some new research from the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, has uncovered […]

Is this the real reason thyroid cancers are skyrocketing? April 12, 2017

Thyroid cancer rates are off the charts, and experts are saying it’s a big mystery. Sure, the usual “better detection” excuse is being tossed around. But even government researchers who just finished a big study on thyroid cancer rates aren’t buying that one. With the numbers skyrocketing during the last few decades, experts are looking […]

Mainstream cancer docs sing praises of high-dose C April 11, 2017

Is the power to cure cancer not only within our reach, but here right now? Just last month I told you about how a doctor in Virginia is using high-dose, intravenous vitamin C to cure devastating sepsis infections that would ordinarily be fatal. But researchers at the University of Iowa’s Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center, which […]

An important new warning for breast-cancer patients March 23, 2017

How much money would you save by cutting back or eliminating radiation sessions for your breast cancer? Plenty! You could save SEVERAL thousand dollars, according to a new study. Exercise, not drugs, is the best relief for cancer fatigue March 16, 2017

Anyone who’s ever had to go toe-to-toe in a fight with cancer knows what a huge drain it can be on your system. After all, your body has two fights on its hands: one against cancer, and one against the side effects of all those treatments. Inevitably, fatigue starts to set in. But this kind […]

Kids being turned into guinea pigs for cancer-causing med March 7, 2017

Jonathan Radzik was only 13 when he died from a very aggressive T-cell lymphoma. Certainly, the death of a child is tragic under any circumstances. But in Jonathan’s case, his parents — and now a jury — blame the Remicade he received to treat his Crohn’s disease for his death. And they also blame the […]

Prostate cancer study omits the most important details February 8, 2017

Someday we’ll look back at how men with prostate cancer were treated by the medical profession and gasp. And one of the most barbaric therapies of all is the use of drugs that block or stop testosterone. Another name for these treatments is “chemical castration.” If it sounds brutal, it is. Many guys who have […]

Why a breast cancer diagnosis calls for a second opinion January 31, 2017

Sometimes good advice can come in disguise. And a perfect example of that can be found in an eye-opening press release issued by the University of Michigan. The release was about a study which looked at the side effects of breast cancer treatments. But while the university’s Dr. Steven Katz rambles on and on about […]

Mental health therapy essential to recovery from cancer January 31, 2017

If there’s ever an excellent example of the “mind-body connection” it’s when someone has cancer. While some doctors have recognized the benefits of treating the “whole person,” it’s pretty much a crap shoot whether cancer patients get any recognition of those needs or not. And as if the concept needed any more “official” recognition, a […]
