Addictive amphetamine for six-year-olds gets A-OK from the Feds
Big Pharma is turning our kindergartners into lab rats — and our government is helping them get away with it!
Right now, a frightening new ADHD med called Dyanavel XR is speeding toward your pharmacy and pediatrician’s office.
It’s a powerful liquid amphetamine that keeps our kids drugged for 13 hours straight — and it’s being targeted at children as young as six years old!
The FDA and Tris Pharma want us to believe Dyanavel XR is “pediatric friendly.”
But there’s nothing friendly about the way our government rubber-stamped this drug at a record pace, based on some of the most incomplete science I’ve ever seen.
Or how it intends to put millions of kids in harm’s way with a med that can cause heart problems, stunted growth, and even sudden death.
I’ve been warning you for years how ADHD prescriptions are going through the roof. Big Pharma is selling about $10 billion worth of these drugs a year — and that’s about six times more than they were raking in a decade or so ago.
But with the way the FDA is acting, you would have thought there was a national Ritalin shortage!
The agency just gave Dyanavel XR a fast-tracked approval in just five months. And I wouldn’t even give the science behind this drug an F — more like an “I” for incomplete.
The last double-blind trial for Dyanavel XR — the one that really counts, where the patients and researchers don’t know who’s getting the med — involved a whopping 108 kids and the treatment period lasted just seven days!
Can you believe it? One week! It’ll take longer than that to play the World Series!
And I wish I could tell you that our government granted this lightning fast approval because Dyanavel XR turned out to be as safe as mother’s milk.
But trust me — giving an addictive amphetamine to a six-year-old is every bit as dangerous as it sounds.
The Dyanavel XR label is filled with warnings such as:
- Blood pressure and heart rate increases;
- Psychotic adverse reactions;
- Long-term stunting of growth;
- Abuse and dependence; and
- Sudden death.
It’ll even carry a black-box warning. This is the same government that’s warning you not to give powerful cold medicines to your kids — and here they are signing off on a med with a side effects list that’s straight out of a horror movie.
After just a five-month review!
So why is our government turning young kids into lab rats, speeding these new and potentially dangerous drugs to market? There’s a gold rush on — and the FDA doesn’t have the guts to stop it.
You see, when Obamacare became law, it allowed the sale of ADHD meds to take off beyond even Big Pharma’s wildest dreams. That’s because every Obamacare plan must include coverage and treatments for “behavioral disorder assessments” like ADHD.
There are billions of insurance company dollars at stake — and the drug companies mean to grab them, even if their patients keep getting younger and younger.
Last year I told you how the Citizens Commission on Human Rights uncovered that babies just a year old and younger were being given ADHD drugs like Ritalin and even depression meds like Prozac and Paxil.
When we get up to preschoolers at the ripe old age of two and three, they’re being drugged by the hundreds of thousands on anti-anxiety meds, antidepressants and antipsychotics.
It’s practically child abuse by prescription.
Listen, we all want our kids to be emotionally healthy, well behaved and to do well in school. And when you’re told that a little one you love has ADHD, it’s natural to want to spring into action.
And that’s why it’s so important to get a second opinion before you agree to these drugs that many kids end up taking for life.
Because they’ll be putting ADHD meds into baby formula next. And it doesn’t look like the Feds are ready to do anything to stop it.
