A group of researchers from the UK are now saying that being upbeat and in a good mood when getting a flu shot will make it work better. Seriously!
But when all is said and done, whether you’re happy or sad won’t change a darn thing.

Because the whole idea of getting a yearly flu jab in the arm is based on a house of cards constructed by Big Pharma and its partners in crime at the CDC that should have blown over long ago.

The power of positive thinkingIt seems that you can’t go anywhere after Labor Day without being smacked over the head with a pitch to get a flu shot.

Now, the latest “news” is that being upbeat and happy when you get the shot will help it become more effective against the flu. Really, they’re grabbing at straws this year, and the so-called flu season hasn’t even begun.

The UK researchers tested the antibody response in 138 seniors several weeks after they received a flu jab. And after accounting for their moods, activity levels, diets, and how well they slept, they came to the astonishing conclusions that one thing — having a positive outlook, especially on the day they received the shot — would predict how well it would work.

Wow, it’s like mind over matter!

But seriously, to make these shots work, that’s what you’re going to need. Because if you pull back the curtain, you’re going to find no proof whatsoever that sick days are being dodged and lives are being saved by all this flu-shot hysteria.

And the only thing crazier than this new study is the story of how this vaccine continues to be promoted despite any proof that it works.

A team of pediatricians, professors at the University of Rochester, took the time to thoroughly review how we got where we are today with the flu shot. And what these doctors, who say they are pro-vaccine, found isn’t pretty. In fact, as one expert they quoted put it, the “vast majority” of studies supporting the flu shot are “rubbish.”

Apparently, despite all the tall tales we hear every year like clockwork, there’s really no science behind those glowing claims.

And from time to time, that’s been admitted, even by those flu-shot happy shills at the CDC –starting way back in 1964 when the head epidemiologist there published a report asking if all these flu vaccines should “be continued without better evidence” that they actually work.

Four years later, a big double-blind trial (the gold standard in clinical research) was done by the same agency — and again, the results didn’t come out on the side of the shot.

The authors wrote that “despite extensive use of influenza vaccines” the life-saving benefits that were promised have “never been demonstrated.”

Now, you might think that perhaps the shots improved over time. Actually, it was just the opposite.

The 1976 swine flu vaccine not only was said to be “generally ineffective,” but it caused an epidemic of one of the worst side effects — Guillain-Barre syndrome, a paralyzing condition in which your immune system goes on the attack against your nervous system.

Fast forward to 2012, when another big meta-analysis concluded that official recommendations to vaccinate seniors were made without a shred of data proving it was effective or even safe.

And to this day, officials have yet to trot out any evidence demonstrating that these dangerous vaccines are worth the risk, especially if you’ve got a few candles on your cake.

If you want to stay healthy during the fall and winter months, you need to do whatever you can to keep your true flu-fighter, your immune system, going strong.

That means getting enough sleep, loading up on supplements such as vitamin D, zinc, selenium, olive leaf extract, and probiotics.

In addition, that old standby of washing your hands with good old soap and water, will probably do more to keep you flu-free than taking a stab in the dark with one of these shots.

And being healthy is something that will definitely put you in a really good mood!
