For years some of the largest drug makers in the world have been waging a shameless campaign to force their dangerous human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines on our daughters and sons.
Companies like Merck and GlaxoSmithKline have worked to get their Gardasil and Cervarix shots required in states like Virginia and included on mandatory vaccination schedules around the world.
Even as stories poured in of heart problems, nervous and immune system disorders, paralysis and deaths linked to these so-called cervical cancer vaccines.
But now… as the risks of HPV shots become even more obvious… it looks like a quiet rebellion is starting to take hold.
Parents and some of the largest health agencies in the world are banding together and asking whether it’s finally time to get these vaccines far away from our kids.
‘Sick and Betrayed’
Since HPV vaccines first hit the market less than a decade ago, I’ve been warning you that these dangerous, unproven meds were going to cause a lot more heartache than they prevented.
I’ve even shared my own personal fight with cervical cancer to prove that there are ways to beat this disease without resorting to shots that could risk your child’s or grandchild’s life.
And, unfortunately, HPV vaccines have been every bit the disaster I predicted.
At this point our government has recorded more than 30,000 adverse events linked to Gardasil, and has paid out more than $6 million in claims for injuries and several deaths linked to the shot.
But if there’s any good news it’s that the tide seems to be turning against the vaccines, and parents are increasingly rejecting them for their kids. The number of American girls and boys getting HPV shots is decreasing every year.
A study in Pediatrics tried to get to the bottom of slumping vaccine sales, and found that parents were getting the message that the shots were unnecessary and not worth the risk.
And not just in America, but all over the world.
Japan used to offer HPV vaccines to young girls for free. But just a couple years ago, the country’s health ministry completely withdrew the recommendation that kids get the shot after hundreds of side effects were reported.
And before long, Europe may be following Japan’s lead.
The European Medicines Agency — which makes recommendations to the entire European Commission about the safety of drugs — has just announced that it’s opening a new review of both Gardasil and Cervarix.
EMA became concerned about severe reactions in young women, including limb pain and a dangerous heart condition called postural tachycardia syndrome (POTS). That’s an abnormal jump in heart rate while sitting or standing, which can result in dizziness, fainting, headaches, chest pain and muscle weakness.
The EMA said it had a responsibility to “review if the number of [adverse] cases reported with HPV vaccine is greater than would be expected.”
Health authorities from Denmark demanded the review after viewing a documentary produced by the country’s own public television station called The Vaccinated Girls — Sick and Betrayed.
It told the story of several young girls who were in perfect health until they got an HPV vaccine. Now they’re suffering from serious and undiagnosed illnesses, and some are confined to wheelchairs. One Danish physician, Dr. Louise Brinth, has seen over 80 young women who have suffered similar acute reactions.
And with sales in America and Japan slumping… and with this new threat in Europe…the drug companies will resort to just about anything to silence the revolt against their HPV vaccines.
In fact, a bogus “study” was just published in Pediatric Infectious Disease Journal claiming to have found no short- or long-term safety issues with Gardasil. Case closed, right?
Of course, one of the co-authors of the study was Dr. Stanley Block of Kentucky, who’s listed as a paid consultant for Gardasil maker Merck. In fact, public records show that he took cash from Merck six times in 2014 alone to promote and speak on behalf of Gardasil.
These kinds of stunts prove just how desperate Big Pharma is to hide the truth about HPV vaccines and all the innocent girls and boys that they’ve harmed.
A truth that governments and parents around the world seem to be slowly waking up to.
